From Vincent Coen@2:250/1 to All on Sun Feb 16 18:45:14 2025
    Hello everybody!

I have removed some dead wood echos from the system but will wait for a week or
so before removing the one's marked backbone from the file BACKBONE.NA etc to allow anyone who does have traffic but please add the SEENBYS for each one at least the primary uplinks.

I tried to log onto her BBBS today forgetting she had passed away

You needed to email here for a password. When I tried logging in as me it refused so tried anonymous and my email address and that also failed.

Needless to say her system was broke well before she died and my system could not poll hers for around 2 years so I had to let her poll my and that was infrequent so I closed that system from here by removing it in my setups as I was annoyed with having 100++ Mb of files / echos on hold despite telling her.

Basically filegate.net is very out of date for everything.

Illness does get in the way of running a bbs.

Yeah she did have a strange setup, but I was only grabbing the odd echomail from her. Yeah I get frustrated if I hav'e polled a system for 24 hours :)
