High pressure migrates east for a sunny northern continent. Unsettled
north and southeast.

Thursday
Fine and sunny in Iberia, some afternoon cloud and isolated light
showers forming for a time. Dry with alternating cloud and sun over the
Balearics, scattered showers Sardinia and Corsica. Becoming breezy in
the central Mediterranean. Mostly dry and warm north Italy with some
cloud increasing through the day, heavy rain central and south. Slow
moving heavy showers across the Balkan States and west Greece. East
areas of Greece and Bulgaria mostly dry and warm, though cloudy.
Feeling hot west Türkiye.
Scattered cloud in France slowly clears for sun in the north, a few
scattered light showers south. Mild and mostly sunny for the Low
Counties and Germany, becoming fine in Poland in the late afternoon. A
breeze along the north coast, calmer inland. Cloud and scattered
drizzle over the Alps. Mostly dry Czechia and Slovakia with cloud
gradually breaking. Some rain in south Hungary and Romania. Dry with
sun spells in Ukraine and Belarus.
Strong southwesterly winds and rain into British Isles. Widely windy
across Scandinavia. Frequent rain onto Norway's west coast. Mostly dry
but cloudy Denmark and Sweden, some rain into central and northern

Friday
Some drizzle in north Spain, otherwise dry and warm across Iberia.
Sunny with a breeze over the central Mediterranean Islands, perhaps a
stray shower or two. Fine in northern Italy with rain in the south,
though not as heavy as Thursday. Heavy showers continue across the
Balkan States with more persistent rain from Croatia eastwards through
Romania and Bulgaria. Scattered showers in the Aegean Sea and Türkiye
with sun spells.
A band of rain slips to the southeast through France and the Low
Countries in the afternoon. Fine in Germany, Czechia, and Poland. Cloud
building in the Alpine countries with rain into Hungary and the
southern half of Romania. Dry and fine in the far east.
Some sun in Denmark and southern Sweden, some rain from the west around
and after dusk. Showery in southern Norway with a few bright spells.

Europe. Breezy in the east with mild temperatures.
Mild or warm in the Baltic States, particularly Lithuania. Mostly sunny
here with some cloud, possibly a stray shower. Dry with patchy cloud
for most of Scandinavia, rain arriving in Denmark and southern parts of
Sweden and Norway later in the day.

Wednesday
Rain across northern and western Spain on Wednesday, this affecting
Portugal too. More rain and heavy showers for the Balearics, extending
into Corsica and Sardinia as well as much of Italy. Greece and Turkey
are likely to be brighter with sunny spells.
Fair in western areas of France but some rain in the far east. The Low
Countries should be dry. Germany will be dry and bright with sunny
spells. Fair in Poland and mild here. Hungary and Austria should have
warm and dry days with lots of sunshine. Cloud in western Austria with
rain in Switzerland.
Denmark should be fair and dry with good spells of sunshine. Cloud and
rain in the southern half of Sweden whilst cloud, drizzle and a strong

A fine and sunny day for Iberia and the Balearics. Showery with a mix
of cloud and sun Sardinia and Corsica. Most of Italy becoming cloudy
with heavy showers north, some thunder likely. Showers more scattered
central and south. Showers into the north Balkan States, mostly cloud
to the south. Another dry and mostly sunny day for Greece and Türkiye.
Frequent heavy showers continue in south and east France; fine in the
north. Showers spread across Switzerland and Austria as well. Fine and
mostly sunny Low Countries and Germany. Fine too into Poland and
Czechia, a few clouds and isolated showers in southern areas here. Some
showers in Romania and Bulgaria with plenty of sun spells; breezy
around the Black Sea.
Brisk cool breeze west Norway and Denmark though extensive sunshine
here. Sunny in Sweden and Finland as well, only cloudy with rain in the
far north. Dry with good sun for the Baltic States.

Wednesday
Showers in the far north of Spain today. Fine for most areas though
with lots of sunshine. The Balearics will have lots of sunshine too and
will be dry. Showers in Italy, some of it heavy. Greece will be dry
with lots of sunshine. Turkey stays dry, again with plenty of sunshine.
Some rain in northern areas of France. Dry and fair in central and
southern areas. Bright with sunny spells and dry weather for Germany
and northern Poland, although some rain in central and southern Poland
and Germany. Wetter too for Austria, Hungary and Switzerland.
Sunny spells and dry for Denmark. Scattered showers for the Baltic
States. Heavy showers in Finland and cool too. Further showers and rain

Sun spells for the west increasing, through showery outbreaks here and
there.

Thursday
Showers affecting northern areas of Spain on Thursday, showery
outbreaks in the southeast later. For the rest of Iberia the day
remains dry and sunny. Showers for the Balearics as well as Corsica,
but dry in Sardinia. Plenty of sun between showers. Heavy showers in
western and northern Italy, quite persistent in the northeast; a mix of
cloud and sun to the south. Showery for the Balkan coast, heavy and
persistent in Slovenia. Greece should be fine again as will be Türkiye,
only scattered showers around well inland.
Cloud and some rain for the south and east of France but fair in
central and northern areas. Scattered showers in the Low Countries and
northern Germany and Poland, quite breezy along the northern coasts.
Central Germany and Poland should be dry with sun spells. Heavy rain
and thunderstorms for Hungary, Austria and Switzerland with a risk of
flooding here. Scattered heavy showers into Slovakia, east Poland,
Romania, and west Ukraine, even more scattered southward toward Greece.
Heavy showers affecting Denmark today, brisk winds too. Showers in the
easter Baltic States with some outbreaks of rain to the west. Wet in
Sweden, only spells of rain in Finland and mostly cloudy. Brighter in
Norway with only scattered light rain, becoming more persistent east
into the evening.

Friday
Showery in the southeast and north of Spain, fine and sunny for
Portugal. Only isolated showers for the Balearics and Corsica, mostly
dry Sardinia with some cloud around. Showery central Italy, settling
north with sun. Heavy showers and thunderstorms slip east across the
Baltic States, clearing for a dry sunset. Another fine day in Greece
and Türkiye, some scattered showers west Greece.
Isolated showers and good sun for France and the Low Countries. More
showers for northern Germany for a time. Rain clearing Switzerland and
Austria, only isolated showers remain. Feeling cooler in Germany and
Poland, mostly dry Poland. Strong thundery showers into eastern
Slovakia, Hungary, and Romania. Heavy rain in west Ukraine and Belarus
