Using the auto install feature to install the door results is a black screen on client side when attempting to enter. The connection hangs and the terminal must be closed. Is there a known issue with this?

Cofigs should be what the auto install script creates.

disregard, there was an manually installed version and i could not get it to work so when i removed it but did not remove the folder, the "auto install" feature saw it and tried to install it. alas , not a js version so that was a no go.

There isn't a "js version" of Exitilus that I'm aware of. But you got it working/installed now okay?

unfortunatley no. I just did a fresh install and used the suggested scfg settings for the door and still get a black screen.

I have never been able to get this one to work.

If it helps, its version 3.2

Do other 16-bit DOS doors work on the same system?

I'm not running synchronet, but I recently installed this on a Windows 32-bit VM and it works just fine.what method are you using to run 16-bit doors?

Do other 16-bit DOS doors work on the same system?

The only other door outside what can be auto installed through synch is LORD 4.07 and it works fine.

I am running a 32 bit windows 10 with NTVDM enabled. I believe I also had to turn compatability mode on (Windows 95) on the LORD executable which i also did for the exitilus exe.

I will post my configs shortly.

    Thank you

in the node setup i have the following:

    dropfile path : c:\sbbs\node1\door.sys
    Exitilus path: c:\sbbs\xtrn\exitilus
    BBS path c:\sbbs

I noticed on the synch wiki for installing this door, it has the bbs path the same as the exitilus path. I tried it both ways to no avail.
