It's in the reference library (I don't know why it didn't make it as a standard). But I think it would be smart to follow it.

Thanks for reminding me of that doc, I've seen it before. I don't think
actually implemented that spec, however. It just seems like some ideasthat
JoHo and another dev jotted down.
