    Title: General Tso's Chicken

    Yield: 3 servings

    1 tb Cornstarch
    +=PLUS=+
    1/4 c Cornstarch; divided
    3/4 c Chicken broth
    2 tb Soy sauce
    1 tb Rice vinegar
    1 tb Hoisin sauce
    2 ts Sugar
    2 ts Sesame oil
    Oil for deep-fat frying
    1 lb Boned, skinneD chicken
    - thighs; in 1" pieces
    1 tb Canola oil
    1 tb Minced fresh gingerroot
    2 cl Garlic; minced
    1/4 ts Crushed red pepper flakes
    2 Green onions; sliced
    1 ts Sesame seeds

    In a small bowl, combine 1 tablespoon cornstarch and
    broth until smooth. Stir in soy sauce, vinegar, hoisin
    sauce, sugar and sesame oil; set aside.

    In an electric skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°.
    Place remaining 1/4 cup cornstarch in a shallow bowl.
    Add chicken, a few pieces at a time, and toss to coat;
    shake off excess. Fry chicken pieces, a few at a time,
    until golden brown, 2-3 minutes on each side. Drain on
    paper towels. Keep warm.

    In a large skillet, heat canola oil over medium-high
    heat. Add ginger, garlic and pepper flakes; stir-fry
    until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir broth mixture and
    add to pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until
    thickened, about 2 minutes. Add chicken to pan; toss to
    coat. Sprinkle with green onions and sesame seeds.

    Title: Creme Brulee Scones
    Categories: Breads, Fruits
    Yield: 12 Servings

    3 c Bisquick
    1/2 c Dried cherries; fine chopped
    1 c Crème brulee flavored liquid
    - coffee creamer
    2 ts Granulated sugar
    1/2 ts Watkins cinnamon

    Preheat oven to 400øF/205øC.

    Combine Bisquick and dried fruit.

    Stir in coffee creamer just until well moistened.
    Drop onto a greased or sprayed baking sheet with a
    regular size ice cream scoop (about 1/3 of a cup).

    Bake until golden brown.
