    Title: Buffet Potatoes
    Categories: Five, Potatoes, Cheese, Dairy
    Yield: 10 Servings

    6 lg Idaho potatoes
    12 oz Onions; chopped, defrosted
    8 oz Cheddar cheese; shredded
    Salt
    1 pt Half & half

    Bake potatoes day before. Leave in refrigerator.

    Next day peel and shred potatoes (use a vegetable
    shredder). Grease a 9" x 12" glass baking dish. Sprinkle
    a layer of potatoes in dish, salt to taste, then a layer
    of onion and a layer of cheese. Repeat layers. Pour half
    and half over all. Bake at 400ºF/205ºC for 30 minutes.

    Title: Seasoned Red Potatoes
    Categories: Potatoes, Herbs
    Yield: 6 servings

    12 sm (to 14) red potatoes;
    - quartered
    1/4 c Butter; melted
    1/4 c Olive oil
    1 ts Salt
    1 ts Garlic powder
    1 ts Dried basil
    1/2 ts Dried thyme
    1/2 ts Pepper

    Set oven @ 375ºF/190ºC.

    Place potatoes in an ungreased 15x10x1-in. baking pan.
    In a small bowl, combine butter, oil and seasonings.
    Drizzle over potatoes; stir to coat.

    Bake until tender, 55-60 minutes, stirring every 15
    minutes.
